Repeat Button Missing On iPhone 12 (Latest version)

My Question or Issue

• Hello,

I’m using Spotify on my iPhone 12 (iOS 17.xx), and I recently noticed that the repeat button (🔁) is missing from the Now Playing screen.

Here's what I’ve already tried:

– Tapped the album cover to open full-screen player

– Checked the three dots (…) menu

– Restarted the app

– Uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify

– Tried logging in with a different account

But the repeat button still does not appear.

Spotify Version:  9.062(latest as of July 2025)

Is this due to a UI test or a bug? I would really appreciate help getting the repeat function back.

Thanks for reaching out. 

You mentioned you've already tried reinstalling, but just to confirm, have you gone though these exact steps for a clean reinstall?

If that doesn't do the trick, could you try logging in to your account using a different device to see if it's still not showing up?

Lastly, it'd also be helpful if you could send over a screenshot of how things look from your end.
