SOME local files won't sync with iPhone 4S

I have a few files I'm trying to sync with my iPhone 4S that just won't seem to carry over.  Seems like files that don't have a corresponding Spotify file.  I have these files on my computer, I was able to sync them and play them on the desktop version of Spotify, but can't seem to get them onto the iPhone.  The big one that is bothering me is Robert Plant & Alison Krauss "Raising Sand".  The whole album won't sync and its one of my all time favorite albums.  There are also a few songs on my workout playlist that I can't get to sync either.

Hi,

Is your iPhone showing up in the devices tab in Spotify desktop? If it is, you can enable offline mode for the playlist with the tracks on and it will sync the files from your computer onto your phone.

It is, and I've followed the instructions to sync local files (Connect via Wifi, Launch Spotify on Desktop, Make Playlist Offline) and its not syncing the files that aren't available on Spotify.
