Search function in playlists not working properly on Iphones

Hello,

I've realised that when I try to use the search function within a playlist on my iPhone it doesn't work properly after I select a track. The following will occur:

1. I go to a playlist on my iPhone and try to use the search function to search for an album/artist.

2. I type in the album/artists and the tracks from said album/artists will show up.

3. I click on a certain track and the album art and track info will pop up.

4. Once I exit the album art/track info pop-up, the search function has been cleared and I am once again just in my general playlist.

I thought this would have been cleared up by a patch but this has yet to happen.

I visually explained steps 2-4 in the photo's I've attached, in the order of step 4, then step 2, then step 3. For some reason I can not reason I can not organise the photos chronologically.
