Searched music won't play

I search the music I want, then I click it and ten my screen blacks out and goes home.

Is this on iPad or iPhone?

Make sure you don't have too many apps running at the same time and log in and out of Spotify and see if that helps. You can also restart your phone by holding down the home and power button for a couple of seconds simultaneously and seeing if that works at all.
