Sharing with Friends not working on iPhone

So I'm wondering if anybody can help with this. I can't seem to send music to specific friends using iPhone. On my laptop I can select Share song and I can search for friends to send to no problem.

But on my iPhone 5s when I select share song and try and enter any friends name in the search field it says "no results". I am using an iPhone 5s and a friend is using iPhone 6 and she says she has the same problem. 

So is it just a feature that is not supported on IOS or is it something else?

Hey, @spoonman982. Welcome to the Spotify Community!

To send something direct to someone’s Spotify inbox on mobile, you must each have your accounts connected to, and be friends on, Facebook. Here’s how.

Once you are all set, you can now share songs:

1. Tap the three dot button () on the artist, album, or playlist page, or next to a track.
2. Tap Share.
3. Tap Send to...
4. Tap Select People.
   Note: You can also choose to share via email and text here. It’ll also detect and offer sharing options for any other integrated apps, such as Facebook messenger and WhatsApp. 
5. Search or scroll down to the name of the person you’d like to send to and tap it.
6. Enter a message if you like.
7. Tap SEND.
