Signed up for free trial, but still cannot access some premium features on my iPhone

I'd like to test out the Premium features during my trial so I can see if I actually want to pay for this service. I can set a playlist to play offline, but anytime I try to stream anything, it still says that "Only Premium users can stream on demand." Does the premium trial have less functionality than the full version? I'd like to make sure the Premium account actually does what I need, otherwise it's not worth paying for.
