Since update (April 22nd 2014), Songs will not sync in offline Mode (iPhone 4)

I have an iPhone 4, and I have been using Spotify as a substitution to prevent downloading music, so I can save space on my phone for other things. I have been a premium member, and really enjoyed the fact that I can create playlists to listen on the go without internet and be able to listen to music on the offline mode. However with the most recent update, (April 22nd 2014), the app not only has had issues with playing songs (Very laggy) and often crashes when trying to load certain things, but it will not sync my songs. When I try to restart and sync it, it stays still, doing nothing.

Very annoying, and would like to have this fixed ASAP.

Unless ofcourse, I am doing something wrong. Please let me know if anybody else has run into this problem.
