Sometimes my phone app stops working in a strange way

I mostly use spotify on the Windows Desktop version. But i mainly control it with the iphone app. Sometimes when i try to change the song, everything stops and it doesnt let me do nothing with the phone. So i have to reach the pc to select the song from there, and i gain the control with the app again.

Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. These steps are more thorough than the simple reinstall and can solve common issues.
