Songs Won't Sync to Spotify Mobile?

I've tried everything, from going offline to trying to manually sync the songs I want off of my computer, but nothing works. The songs appear on my computer and play fine, and they appear on my phone, but they're faded and say that they can't play off of my iPhone because they aren't downloaded. Even when I'm connected to the same wifi network as my computer, my phone doesn't pop up under devices that I could transfer music to. And, local files won't appear on the app, either, even when my phone is clearly connected to my computer. Any advice?
