Songs are playing that are not in the playlist

Something weird occurred today: when starting a playlist and pressing the shuffle, the songs that are in the playlist are NOT playing, but different songs that aren't in the playlist?! What to do?

Hey @mrijvivo,

Sounds like you might have Autoplay enabled. This feature selects similar songs when the selected music ends. 

To turn this off, go to Your Library > Settings cog > Playback > toggle off Autoplay.

If you're clicking the Shuffle Play icon on a playlist and you're still experiencing this, it might be worth checking your Queue for a backlog of previously queued songs that'll be played first.

To do this, go to your Now Playing view > hit the ☰ icon > select the queued tracks to remove by tapping the circles > tap Remove at the bottom.

If you're still experiencing this, check your device for iOS updates and reinstall the app.
