Songs are shuffling without having chosen Shuffle Play

For the past couple of days songs within my playlists have been shuffling even though I haven't chosen Shuffle Play. I go to Your Music, select a Playlist, and tap on the first song in the playlist. The first song starts playing but then instead of playing the next one in the Playlist it jumps around the songs randomly. Any ideas? There's no generic shuffle setting that may have turned itself on, is there?

This is on an iPhone 5s, OS 7.1 (don't want to upgrade to iOS8), Spotify version 2.2.0.2464. Any pointers would be great!

The shuffle option might have gotten turned on.

Tap on the now playing bar at the bottom of the screen (bar that shows the current playing song)

Now you should see the now playing screen.

Look near the bottom left corner for a shuffle option.

If the shuffle option is turned on, turn it off.

Click the down arrow at the top left of the screen to exit.

Mine is not selected and it's still shuffling all of my songs- even playing songs that aren't in my library! When I select a song in my library the song that comes next is always some random shuffled song and at the top of the screen says "playing from up next" ?

Got the same problem. None of the green arrows have been selected and after updating my ipad to ios 10, spotify is always playing my songs random!!! 

And it is even getting worse. If i select an album to listen, after the first song it is always playing music from another playlist i have created myself and continuing playing from the created playlist.

Spotify, get your act together and solve this!!
