Songs downloaded from Internet

I'm able to listen to my local files on the computer, but there are certain songs that I've downloaded off the internet that are in mp3 format that are not in the iTunes library or Spotify library. I'll put these songs in playlists and make sure the playlists are available offline, but I can't listen to these songs on my phone. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?

I got the same probldm for about 2 months now. The support said they will fix it in the next update but I don't really believe it because they said the same 2 months ago...
