Songs won't show up in my iPad

Songs won't show up in my iPad

Hey guys,

I am having a tough problem: some of the songs I have on my computer do not show up on my iPad.

I have just made a playlist in my computer entitled "My Music". In the desktop app, the playlist has 1.072 songs. When I look at the EXACT SAME playlist on the iPad (and on my iPod), it only has 1.041 songs.

Can anyone explain this to me? It happens regardless of my trying to make the songs on the playlist available offline.

And yes, I have the premium version.

Thanks in advance!

Are any of those tracks local files on your desktop app (songs you own as mp3's)? If so you need to sync them over to your device by connecting them to the same WiFi network.

It's worth bearing in mind if you have not selected the "Hide Unplayable Tracks" option in the Preferences menu in the desktop client, it will overestimate the number of tracks since it may include ones you can't play. The mobile apps always hide unplayable tracks.
