Sort by ascending or descending (date added)

Hi,

On the iPad version on a playlist you can swipe down to reveal a sort function in the top.

Why isn't this available on the iPhone version?

If you keep many active playlists and add new songs frequently, you most likely want to have your latest added tracks on top. Now you have to scroll down, start somewhere in the bottom and use the controllers a lot to go back after a song is played.

Read the previous posts. This isn't about sorting Playlists but sorting songs newest to oldest on Iphone.

Funny this thread is from 2014 as it is now 2017 and this still doesn't seem to have been fixed. Unless I'm wrong.... ? Please tell me I'm wrong...  I want to be wrong on this one.

I went through this thread and was wondering why I still had the same issue but I know how to do it now!!

So you need to go on the playlist and swipe down until you see the search/filter bar - next to it on the right you’ll then see the 3 horizonal lines. You’ll then be able to sort it to ‘Recently added’.
