My Question or Issue
I download a playlist on my Apple Watch to listen to on my runs & leave my phone at home. I've done this for years & haven't had this issue. My last 2 runs, the music will stop in a middle of a song, the App closes & when I reopen the app it prompts me to 'log back into my account on my phone' which I don't have with me. It happens after I've been listening to the playlist offline without my phone for at least an hour or more. I've deleted the Spotify app & reinstalled it. Please help.
Had the same issue in the middle of a Half-Marathon and had to continue without music because of this. Spotify Support didn't have an idea on how to prevent this in the future and therefore I'm now thinking about different options (e.g. switching to Apple Music as I also don't like the 100 songs per playlist limit, but that's a different issue).
Here're some additional details:
Plan: Premium
Country: Switzerland
Device: iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra 2 (Cellular, but no data plan)
Spotify version: 9.0.82.1033 (might've been a previous version)
Operating System iOS 18.7, WatchOS 11.6.1
Troubleshooting steps: Tried to reopen/killing the Spotify app multiple times while on the run, but that didn't help. Only thing that worked was to sync it again with the iPhone.
same issue
Went for a long run today (2+ hours) & it didn’t log me out! Hoping this means it’s been fixed. 🤞
Thinking this has been fixed! 2 days in a row of not getting logged out of my account while out on a run. Both were longer sessions 90 minutes+ thanks for the help!

My Question or Issue
For weeks now listening on my watch with AirPods it won't stay connected to my watch/AirPods. It might play a song or two, then it'll look like it's still connected to my watch and playing (the time keeps ticking), but there's no sound. Or, the other thing it does is tries to connect to my phone when my phone is within range. I've tried closing the app on my watch and re-opening. I uninstalled the app on my watch and reinstalled it. I've tried turning my phone off, I've tried airplane mode on my phone and i've turned off bluetooth and wifi off on my phone. It seems to keep wanting to attach to my phone. It even shows my home devices when I'm 20 miles from home. The app is unusuable at this point and SUPER disappointing. Considering switching to Apple Music app. Y'all can't have possibly tested this...I mean it doesn't work at all, with the latest app and iOS version. It's total junk right now.
Hey folks,
This should be fixed in the latest app version. Can you please update and let us know if everything is working as expected?
Cheers,
