Spotify Pausing, Jumping, Siri Opens, Unable To Listen At Times?

Hi, I am currently listening to Spotify on my iPhone 7. For quite a while now there have been some real issues when trying to listen to Spotify whilst using earphones. Siri keeps popping up, the music pauses, skips back, skips forward.
I note that others have had these issues, and on one thread it states that there could be feedback issues with the earphones, or some debris at the iPhone jack point.
However, when listening to Audible, or iTunes, or Amazon Music, I do not get any problems at all? The above applications play fine, with no interuptions at all.
So, if this is the case, is it a software issue with Spotify?
The earphones are fine...
