Spotify Stuck on "Waiting to Download" Even After Local Files Have Downloaded

I created a seperate playlist in order to download my local files from my computer and I've managed to get all the songs I wanted to download but after they have all finished downloading (all have a green arrow underneath them) it still indicates that they are "Waiting to Download" and when I go to turn off the "Downloading" green switch it warns me that I'm removing the files from downloads (even though the files are already downloaded!) and says I won't be able to play them offline but I have tested to see if that were really the case by turning off the wifi and it did not delete the songs however every time I turn off the switch it immediately erases my downloaded songs! I could just keep the switch on green but my OCD will not have it.
