Spotify app crashing about 15-30 seconds after startup when downloading music.

My spotify app will not stay open for more than 30 seconds when trying to save music to my iphone. it gets through about 3 songs and then crashes. I have an iphone 6 64gb. Literally can't download music unless I sit and watch and reopen everytime it crashes. Takes an extreme amount of time when you have 2000 songs to save. Have tried deleting and reinstalling, any help would be much appreciated.

Note: this only happens on wifi and when downloading music, doesn't happen on LTE as spotify won't download music over data. also, I have my quality set to extreme.

I've had the same thing happping to me for more than a year. I've been hoping with each software update that they will fix this and nothing has happened. i've tried everything from re-downloading everything, re-installing, even restoring my iphone and re-downloading all of my apps etc. I've tried contacting Spotify, They dont seem to care.
