Spotify blocks out all other audio when playing music

My Question or Issue

Lately I’ve been playing apps on my phone and want to listen to Spotify while playing apps however whenever I play music and go to some apps the Spotify music takes completely control over the audio causing the app to go mute, is there a way to fix this or if it’s a problem with the app, thank you

Let's take a look at this.

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps?

If that doesn't work, can you let me know:

• If this happens with certain apps, or all apps with audio included?
• If this happens when you're trying to watch a video?

After reinstalling it didn’t fix anything which I assumed it wouldn’t it is with certain apps but it is only with some games although it should be consistent with playing both audios, but for some reason the Spotify music causes the app to not play any audio at all
