Spotify downloads different songs by itself

My spotify started to download songs -that i didin't donwload- by itself. Especially spanish songs. I am using iphone IOS 11 could it be related to it?

Is it actually downloading and storing the random songs to your phone?

It's possible that its just streaming random songs for you after the music in your playlist ends. If you have more details you can provide when it happens or some screenshots would be very helpful! Thanks!

Aah it happened again ! It is not me downloading songs in the photo it is phone itself. In addition they appear 'recently played' part.

Also these songs are not the ones that i listened or searched before. I see these songs for the first time 😄

Hmmm, that is a funky glitch. I have never seen it auto download anything without your input - but know that it will play artists you don't select when you are listening to radio or daily mix since it is trying to tailor your music tastes. 

A couple more questions:
When the app starts these random songs are you listening in a personal playlist with the repeat all function on? Or is it starting new music once the playlist ends?
A place you can check on your phone is if autoplay is defaulted to on. 

Maybe try switching it off if it's set to on.

If that's not a solution you could try a clean install of the whole app from the app store. 

You also have the option to delete what's on the recently played list if you dont want to see it in the feed menu.There's an "edit" button in the top corner of recently played.

It never happened when i listening to music. Usually i notice when i open spotify. I will try delete the app and install again

Hi!
I certainly can understand your frustration with this concern.

Is there any chance your wifi network is shared? From your screenshot it looks like another device may be linking via the Connect feature.
Are you able to switch to your phone's cellular data or try a different secure wifi connection?
I would also suggest resetting your password if you think someone might have gained access to your account.

Hopefully this will help solution it if an app reinstall did not. Keep me posted!

Issue on my spotify still continuing. Today a notification showed up suchlike the last one. It said '' You are listening on Iphone von Elena'' Eventhough i turned off the cellular data
