Spotify iMessage preview URLs no longer showing when shared.

My Question or Issue

I've shared Spotify links with friends and family for years, but now, instead of getting a play button and album art within iMessage, I just get a "Web Player" block, and no preview anymore. 

I've tried: turning iMessage on and off, rebooting my phone, signing in and out of Spotify.

Hi Eni- any thoughts on what’s going on? I am starting to see it “spread” as it happens in my music groupchat when my friends share music as well. Not everyone but one by one they're falling. Now functionally it works fine but the thumbnail adds a nice visual touch to the chat.

Resolved for me on iOS 16.5 (20F5050f) and the latest Spotify version 8.8.30.499. This is a beta version of iOS

Hi!

I'm having the same issue (Pictures Below):

• When I share songs through iMessage, the link no longer displays the album art with an option to preview the song. However, Spotify still opens when I click on the link. So my link looks like this:
• In a group message with my friends, I was the only one who had installed the newest iPhone update. My friends' links still have album art, so I asked them if they could see/open the ones I sent. They can, but they only see the same text block I do.
• I had my sister update her iPhone to see if the same problem occurred, and it did. It seems like this bug is caused by the newest iPhone update, which may affect syncing/data/setting issues when sending "preview" links. 
• I was curious if sharing links from other apps causes the same issue. So far, YouTube has fixed the issue but it still persists with TikTok and Chrome links. It also seems like iMessage is not the only affected application.

After updating to the latest IOS, my imessage shared links are not showing album art previews anymore. The link with album art is an example of what my friends links are showing and the one without is on my end.

since last year I’ve been having the issue of not being able to share a song with the song cover. It only shows the link to Spotify.

today after hours of digging into this, I found out there’s a programming issue with the url.

In the end of the URL it will say preview=none and I deleted and it shared the song with the picture cover.

i don’t know in the programming side how can Spotify fix this because I’m the only one who has this issue from everyone I share songs with. But at least I found out what’s making this an issue.
