Spotify keeps on changing back to a previous playlist after *every* song

Spotify keeps on changing back to a previous playlist after *every* song

This is happening to me. As per resolved discussion.  Yes, extremely annoying.

But it occurred after I "followed" a playlist. I did not queue it.  I do have use of a laptop, but I am trying to listen at the moment through my iPad. I recognise the queue symbol  from the laptop, but can't seem to find it on the iPad. Does it exist?

As this situation was occurring, I "Un – followed " the playlist.  (It is obviously still there, as recently played).  But to no avail.

I am still a learner on the computer. LOL   It is quite possible I  overlooked something.

I have an extremely extensive playlist system. I wondered if this is the cause of it.?

I am looking towards setting up a second account, to try and resolve it. Is it likely that this is the reason it has happened? And may help ?

My iPad is  quite clogged up at the moment – I am in need of getting rid of old apps, and cleaning up. But I haven't had time to do it yet.

I haven't been able to see if the same thing is happening on the laptop.

I am a free listener.  (I presume that is not connected.)  Despite that, Spotify is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you to them.

I would be REALLY  grateful, if anybody could help me out.

Thanks ever so much, for any anticipated help.

Vonnie.

ps.   I'm afraid I don't know what you want me to put in, in the message tags or labels

That could be fine. A brand new start is always good for the soul 🙂

btw - hitting the queue icon just makes you see what's next. THEN you can do further actions if you want.

If you were using the desktop app, I'd tell you to undo the action pressing cmd+Z.

But if you did it in your iPad... 😕

I was using the desktop app. Unfortunately I panicked, and  hit something to try and    bring my playlists back,  it's not second nature to me yet, to do that.

I've never used CTRL before,  and I didn't understand the terminology.

But I couldn't have done it on the iPad, because that's gone too.

And your message about how to  stop the installing to start again,

I'm afraid I couldn't understand any of it.  It was  all alien  to me because I can't  neccessarily put it in context.

It's not easy for me.

Thank you for trying to help me.

Vonnie
