Spotify links won't open in app, opens in browser

My Question or Issue

when I share my Spotify profile link with people on TikTok, it will open my profile (open.spotify.com) but when I click on the button (open app) a message occurs that says "action cannot be completed." it only works when I click on the 3 dots in the top right corner and click "open is browser." Is there anyway to fix this?

Does this only happen when you share your profile link in TikTok or in other apps as well? In any case, it's a good idea to try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app and make sure that your OS and other apps are up to date.

If the issue persists, please let us know the model, OS version and Spotify version of the devices this occurs on.
