I have spotify premium on my Iphone 4, and I had several playlists synced as able to play off-line. Two weeks ago, I was listening to a song from that playlist and the song stopped about half-way through. I tried playing another one and I had the same problem. In order to fix this problem, I tried updating the app. This did not help. So I then tried removing the app, re-downloading it and re-syncing my playlists. Now, not only will my playlists not sync, but spoify will not play any songs even when I am online (the radio will not work either). I have tried again this week to re-download the app, which has not helped the issues. As a premium customer, all of those functions should be working on my mobile. Can someone please give me a contact number or email to get help with this problem if I cannot get an answer on here?

I have the same problem with songs stop playing at approx 1.20 mins into them.
The song stops at ~1.20.. Nothing happens when pressing the play/pause button. However, if i forward further into the song, using the slider it starts playing again.
This happened with my previous spotify (unknown version), I updated it to the latest version. That one didn't start at all. Then downgraded to Spotify for iOS4, which at least started, but stopped at 1.20 as well.

Spotify has been working perfectly on this phone with this OS before, I changed nothing, but suddenly it started to behave this way with songs stopping.

1. I go to open the app, and it loads the top bar and a blank screen below it.
2. No errors messages, it's just blank where content should be.
3. It does the same thing every time I open it.
4. I'm using the most recent version of the app. I've deleted and re-installed it, the problem doesn't go away.
5. I'm using iOS 6.1.3
The problem isn't my phone - it's you guys. Fix it.

I'm having the exact same problem. I only got spotify premium recently and got maybe 3 or 4 days out of it before it stopped working. When I use it,it goes straight to the white screen with the bar at the top, then after a while it just closes itself. Ive tried all of the above things to fix it - reinstalled it fifty times etc. How do I fix it? I only got premium so I could listen on my phone so I want to see if it can be resolved before the thirty day trial runs out otherwise I'll just go back to free.

I had tried the workaround a few times previously and it hadnt worked, but I reset my phone once more before replying to this and it appears to have fixed it. Happy days!
Hi there I use Spotify from years now is the first time that i have this kind of problem...
Every time that i use spotify radio (streaming) with my iphones (i have a iphone 4s and a iphone 5 the two with the ios 6.1.3) the songs stops... Sometimes it works after several seconds sometimes not... I have the same wifi for 2 years son thats not the problem... (i've cheked and i have not more users than me in my wifi network)
In my mac there is no problem.. Its sure that's the ios but i need a solution....

- What version of the app are you using? Have you tried a reinstall? I'm using the last version of the app. yes i have reinstall

@rantamplannn -- does it happen after restarting by holding the Home and Lock buttons together for about 10 seconds? That tends to help with a lot of playback issues on iOS devices (and badly-behaved iOS apps in general).
Thanks fo answer but it's the same after reboot... NOW i have the same problem but with my mac... I never had this kind of problem...
And i have it only in the afternoon... Never in the morning... I dont know about it but seems a server problem... ( i have check all about my wify, i have 100mb and change the pass every day, i couldnt now if some one really clever crack my pass every day and dont show his ip (really hard), so i have now change my pass and 2 min after the same problem... the songs stop every 30 seconds...)
Every songs stop 5 o 6 times... Sometimes it never ends...
It's impossible to continue like that... I need a solution please....

I have arrived at the same conclusion; that maybe it was a router problem... I begin to search and it seems that with movistar (my phone company) the people have problems even if you have big conexions.... Now i'm trying to find how to solve the problem... The movistar tecs are not too clevers.... 😞
Hi, Richard, I'm having a similar problem as RachelZ. Just a few days ago, my Spotify account stopped connecting from my iPhone4 at home. It will connect at work. Your response to RachelZ suggests that this may be because I have too many devices connected at home. So how do I remove these excess devices from my account so that I can reconnect my phone? Do I simply remove Spotify from these other machines?
premium app appears to be working fine and when I click play on a track it seems to be playing but no sound at all. (I have checked that it is not the phone)
I reinstalled the app and now have a newer version but still the same issue.
I have tried to turn my iphone on and off. IOS version 8.3.
