Spotify on Apple TV - no connect possible unless spotify is active

My Question or Issue

As the connect function will not be made available for the Windows PC Client (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Closed-Ideas/Connect-Multiple-Accounts-access-same-Device/idc-p/486...), I switch my PC by an Apple TV 4K.

The main reason for this was that only the person who's logged in at the Spotify PC app could control the music on our system.

With the Apple TV everybody on my home network can use the AppleTV as a "Spotify connect" device.

However, this only works if the Spotify app is active on the AppleTV and is at the front. So eg if you watched a Netflix film, you have to remember to return to the spotify app.

The app can also not wake up the AppleTV, so I configured the AppleTV not to go into sleep mode.

Apple Music can do these things.

It already was a big disappointment that the Spotify Connect function wouldn't come to the Windows PC version, so please improve the Spotify functions for Apple TV... or should I really consider moving to Apple Music as well?
