Spotify on iPhone 4s initializes after return from background process

Returning from background process, Spotify re-initializes

 

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. Start Spotify

2. Play something

3. Stop play

4. open some other App and keep Spotify in background

5. Return to Spotify (e.g.. Stopping the Car and refuel and return)

 

What I expected to happen

You should return to where you stop listening

 

What actually happened

Spotify initializes (Three dots) and if I'm lucky I end up in previous playlist, else in Browse menu.
 I have a iPhone 3G s and a Samsung 4s that never have this issue

I normally only get dropped to Browse if the app has crashed and then relaunched on my iPhone.

Have you tried reinstalling the app?

Yes i have.

After first try it re-initialize again.

This is very annoying.

Is this issue isolated to Spotify? If I navigate away from other apps, Facebook springs to mind it forgets my position too.

I should add that this is and old issue perhaps when IOS 6 released.

So I have processed this in my mind for a long time and finaly I had the time to really put this in print.

When I searched this in Community, there is a few that have the same issues but no one had put it as the "Template" sugested

Thats why I created this in a new thred.

Yes I will say it is.

If I go to some poste in Facebook or open a page in safari it will return to where I was.

But in Spotify a restart.

I will make a movie so all can see this...

That's not always the case, mostly I end up sevral songs back or in Browse view
