My Question or Issue
Hi, I’m turning to the Spotify community because this has been going on for months, and today was the last straw.
I’ll be listening to music on Spotify and it will randomly stop. When I open the Spotify app, I’ll see that the song is paused and reset back to the beginning. Today, my music stopped 5 times in 1 minute (I just would open the app and hit play every time it happened).
I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app. I’ve tried clearing the cache. I’ve made sure I’m not on low power mode or accidentally listening to something else when this happens. I’ve also made sure that this isn’t because of my WiFi dropping out (which is around 400 Mbps, for reference).
For example, my music stopped even while writing this message...
Anyone know why this is happening, and how to fix it?

If reinstalling the app and cleaning up the cache didn't do the trick for you it's best to check whether you're dealing with a device- or account-related issue. Try logging in to your Spotify account on another device just to check if you observe the same. If it doesn't occur on a different device, we'd suggest making sure that your original device is up to speed with any software updates available.
