Spotify only works when started on wifi

Brief description of the issue:

If I start Spotify on my wifi, then leave the house, it works fine on my iPhone 5.  But if I close spotify away from the wifi and try to restart it on my data network, it crashes.  It doesn't remember my login, it prompts me to login, and after I enter my login information and click login it crashes.  Once I'm home and back on wifi, I can login fine and everything works fine.  However, when I most want to listen to Spotify is in the car.

This problem is new... maybe only been happening a week?

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. First I did this

Quit Spotify on my phone after leaving the house.

 2. Then I did that

Tried to launch Spotify later.  It prompted me to login (which it never has before), and when I login it crashes.

What steps you’ve tried already:

I deleted the app, emptied cache on the phone, reinstalled the app from the app store.

I've got the same problem with my Iphone 5, Spotify only works if there's WiFi connection. I've tried unistalling and installing the application twice but still have the problem. I have a Premium subsciption.
