Spotify playlist not cached, even if downloaded

I am using Spotify for iOS version 8.4.3.884 and since a couple of weeks I have the impression that the download/caching of the playlist (not the songs) has changed. Even for downloaded playlists, every time when I click on a playlist, the client seems to connect to the server and download the playlist (not the songs which are cached locally ok). When the mobile connection is bad, the page stays black and I do not see the playlist, cannot play the song. I must add that I have a lot of playlists which are also quite long in part...

My impression before was that before the playlist showed up immediately, apparently coming from a local file from a cache. Is this a known issue? If you cannot reproduce I can send a short video showing it.

Seems like it has to recreate everything from scratch every time I pull up Playlists as well.  I put the app into Offline mode, restarted and lo and behold, Playlists load almost immediately.
