Spotify premium 3 months for price of 1 and sonos question

Hi,
Firstly apologies if this has been covered previously
I got email saying 3 months premium for 1 month cost, my question is can I use a scratch card to pay for this 1 month? Or Is this based on a rolling subscription after the 3 months and hence need to give card details? I don't want to buy scratch card and then find not valid!! I don't like to give card details and be committed to rolling subscription.
I still don't know why spotify dont do a one off lifetime membership! But that's a separate issue!
Next question is why sonos speakers need premium to work, why not shuffle play?? Doesn't make sense, is this just a ploy to get more money from us!

I would gladly have premium at all times but the cost is very prohibitive, I hope spotify realise this and review their pricing structure especially in the UK.

The "3 months premium for 1 month cost" deal will not work with a scracth card. A credit card has to be used to get the deal.

If you are worried about a rolling subscription, after you get the deal, you can cancel shortly after so it won't renew after 3 months.
