Spotify requires login on offline mode

If I select offline mode, or even if I'm just not connected to the internet, and close the app and re-open it, it asks for me to login......why?

Hmm, that shouldn't be happening. You might want to try a clean installation of Spotify - It sounds like your login details aren't caching correctly.

This appears to happen when I install the spotify app and login with facebook, it doesn't however do it after I relogin through spotify.

I am having the same problem on my iPad. I have done a clean installation, but I joined Spotify with my Facebook account, so I don't have exclusive spotify credentials. I have Premium, but when I switch Spotify to offline mode, the next time I open it, it asks me to log in again!

I am having the same issue with my ipod. I have premium, but I used facebook as the way to create an account and so I cannot take my ipod in my vehicle and listen to offline playlists because there's no wifi. Is there a solution to this?

I'm having this problem too, just recently in the last 2 weeks, I've been forced to login everytime I want to use Spotify... I can switch to offline mode after I login, but the next time I use the app, it forces a new login again.

Same problem started for me only recently. Major bug that needs fixed immediately. Very annoying to not have offline mode while on a long flight! What are we paying you for Spotify?!? Fix it and keep us updated!
