Spotify seems to think i'm out of space (i think)

Hi,
Been having his problem for a while now with making songs available while offline,as songs just won't download and spotify keeps "waiting to download." However when i delete songs already made available offline then i can then make the same amount of of songs available offline...i have about 12.5 gb of free space. I tried soft restart, reinstalling the app, logging on and off, nothing works. space isn't really an issue, but the problem persists...anyone has an idea?

Hi @Jiveman7,

There's something you can try. Unselecting an offline playlist actually gives you back the space the playlist used up.

So unselect your offline playlists and then re-sync them. You can check if if it worked when you deselect a playlist wait 2 minutes and then re-select it. If the green arrows appear almost instantly the playlist is still cached on your device. Otherwise it would take at lest a few minutes to sync the playlist.

Let me know if it works!

Hi bittencourt,
Maybe i'm missing what ur aimong for, but if i desync a playlist/album and then sync it again, i still have the problem of not being able to sync additional albums, no?

I did do as u suggested though, and the playlist i deselcted synced in a few secs...so what does that mean?

I read some topics regarding this issue and it seems like an unsolved bug. But some people have managed to work around by unselecting the offline playlists, deleting the app, turning off the iPhone, then on again and reinstalling.

If it doesn't work for you, I recommend you get in touch with the staff through the contact form.

I also had Spotify telling me I was out of space. I deleted the app and downloaded it again and apparently I now have plenty of space. Incidentally prior to doing this the iPad was showing that Spotify was using more tha 1GB of space. I don't use the iPad for listening offline.
