My Question or Issue

Hi, I have lately an issue with spotify app on my IPad 4 mini; the playlist stop after playing 3 or 4 tracks. I also noticed that the app stays showing the first tracks picture while it's playing the 2nd and 3rd song.

I reinstalled the app twice on the IPad and it didn't solve the problem. I also installed spotify on my IPone 6s and it's working without any issues.

The spotify on the IPad is also used with BluOS, I changed the source on BluOS to other online services and it's working without any problems. once on spotify i am getting the issue again.

Any idea what this could be coming from?

Thanks.

Hey @ShopEnes, and welcome to the community.

Hope you’re doing great!

Can you let me know if this is happening with the Spotify app or the BluOS app?

Keep me posted 🙂

Hello Billy J,

sorry for the late answer!! it was time for vacation;)

The problem is happening when I am using only Spotify but playing on BluOS speakers. The same is happening also when I am using only BluOS app.

When Soptify is playing only on IPad, everything is working just as it should.

Thanks,

Hey @ShopEnes.

No worries!

Since Spotify is working properly when you're not using Spotify Connect to stream to your devices through the BlueOS app, please try following these steps:

  • Make sure all devices are on the same WiFi network.
  • Restart all of your devices.
  • Make sure that the BlueOS app is up to speed with any pending updates and all devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, they can check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
  • Check the Spotify app is up-to-date.

Let me know how this goes 🙂
