Spotify stops/pauses when receiving notification or entering an app

I am an iphone X user, IOS 11.2.2, and every time I receive a notification spotify stops or pauses the song. But most annoying anytime I enter snapchat the song pauses as well.

Try to reinstall the app, or if not update it

Hi I’ve already reinstalled Spotify and still every time I open Spotify
while listening to music the music pauses

I have the same issue on a MacBook Air running 10.14.6
