Spotify uses up all my data even with mobile data off

I have the following issue with Spotify on an iPhone 6S Plus with iOS 9.3.1.

I have Mobile Data turned off yet Spotify used GBs of mobile data in a few days.

I have a huge mobile data bill due to this.

The screenshot below was taken doing the following:

- Turn off WiFi

- Reset statistics

- Turn on Mobile Data in general but turn it off for Spotify as you can see

- After a short time Spotify already used half a MB off data again so I turned Mobile Data off on my phone again.

I have currently no option but either

- remove Spotify (for which I pay the premium to be able to listen offline when not on WiFi)

- turn off Mobile Data completely, which means having a useless iPhone with a 3GB data plan

Can you please investigate this because this is consuming lots of data causing high bills!

The thread you linked to indicates this issue as fixed. That is not true, this glitch still exists.
