Spotify v2.3.0 / iPhone 4 - what are your experiences?

I own an iPhone 4 and I have recently become wary of installing app updates that promise to make the app work better with iPhone 6. Because sometimes these updates break functionality for iPhone 4. 

I would like to hear from you out there who have been brave enough to install Spotify v2.3.0 on your iPhone 4. What are your experiences? Is it better or worse than the previous version? I currently have v2.2.0 installed. It's performance is pretty poor, it lags a lot, but at least it is not completely broken.
