Spotify when connected to Airplay in Car has blank screen.

My Question or Issue

 I connect my phone through Carplay and use Spotify with it. Occasionally, I notice that the spotify screen on the dashboard is blank when launched and could not control using the touch screen in my car. I tried closing the app and restarting the app, even unplugging and plugging the device,  but it did not fix the problem.  Even though nothing is shown on the display the music is still played. I can change songs with my phone or my watch. In the same session the other apps work fine and use my navigation. This does not happen everytime but happens occasionally.
