Spotify won't work with my bluetooth?

My Spotify no longer works with my Bluetooth speakers in my vehicle. I have restarted my phone, uninstalled & reinstalled the Spotify app, and I have tried to play other media through the speakers with success. It is solely my Spotify giving me trouble and it's a nightmare! I rely on Spotify to keep me awake during my hour long commute to and from work. Without Bluetooth connectivity, I'm dying! Please help me sort this out. It was working like a charm until (I think) last Thursday.
