Stop browse from opening

I have spotify on my iPhone (completely updated) and Every time I turn it on, it automatically goes to the browse option but takes forever. Even if I was listening to a playlist 10 mins before, the app resets, shows the playlist that I ws listening to with a loading screen, then the app turns off. Once I start it again it goes to the main black spotify screen, then goes back to loading screen on the same playlist, then goes to browse window which takes like 2 mins to load and I can't do anything until its done. This irritates me to no end and seems fairly recent for the iPhone app. Is there amy way to change the settings on the app so browse isn't automatically opened or do I have to just put up with my urge to throw my phone across the room?

Hmmm thats weird, for me it stays on the playlists/artists i was on before, have you tried a clean install?

Was gonna do that as a last resort. Have some local file songs but my laptop crashed 😕 if I can't find another solution I'll reinstall

strange. mine have a problem sometimes, it just bug. but try to re-instal it.
