Syncing songs iPhone

I recently signed up for the spotify premium service and am trying to sync my playlist. When I log into my spotify account on a computer or another iPhone the number of songs synced iny playlist is different than that of what shows up on my phone. Once the songs are fully synced on another device will it automatically update on my phone? What causes this to happen?

I am having this same issue as well. I do have local files, but they have all synced to my iPhone. My "Local Files" playlist is the same size on my desktop/iOS. However, my other playlists are not the same size. So far, all I've tried is logging out/logging back into Spotify. One play list is 1596 on my iPhone and should be 1598. Another is 50 on my iPhone and should be 51. Yet another playlist is 417/417 so is fine...

okay i have the exact same problem. I'm a premium user, have logged in numerous times on my iphone 4s after logging out and it will not accept me being a premium user while my computer does.
