The app stops playing/starts playing/skips around by itself

I've been using the Spotify iPhone app for almost a year. A few days ago, the app started skipping to different points in a song by itself. Sometimes it starts the song over, sometimes it skips around to different songs (so fast) until I quit the app. This has made the app unusable. Being that I pay for spotify premium primarily so that I can have songs available in offline mode on my phone, I'm going to cancel if this doesn't stop. Please help!
