Track details no longer displayed on car radio since updated to Spotify 7.8.0.404 or later

Since updating to Spotify 7.8.0.404, when ever I connect my iPhone to my car (Volvo V60) it will display the all the track info for the first few tracks fine and after that it just displays Spotify. If I disconnect my iphone and then reconnect it, it will then display the track info for the current track and then revert to just saying Spotify for the rest of the tracks. It worked fine before the latest update and I checked this by using and iPad with the previous version. Anyone any ideas what's happening? The iPad was then updated to Spotify 7.8.0.404 and then started to have the same problem as the iPhone. I've attached two photos of what is now happening. Update even with updates to 8.x is still have the same problem
