Trouble playing music

Whenever I turn off my IPhone my Spotify music stops playing. It also happens when I hit the home button. How can I fix this because i used to be able to play music while doing anything on my phone.

Can you let us know which version of Spotify you're using?

Also, do you have any force-quitting/battery-saving apps downloaded, or are you using 'Low Power Mode'?
