Unsubscribed playlists in My Playlists

Beginning on Jan 5, I noticed that at least 40 playlists that I do not follow have popped up in My Playlists. They appear as the first playlists listed on the Spotify app on my iPhone and on the Sonos app. I also had this problem using the Spotify app on my iPad - but closing the app and restarting resolved the issue. I tried closing the iPhone app and logging out/logging in, but the problem still remains on the iPhone. Any clue what’s going on?

I’m in the US, on iOS 12.1.2 on an iPhone 8, iPhone XS. Using the Sonos app on the iPhone XS.
