Updated app crashes on iPad mini

I've just sighted up for a premium account and have been enjoying spotify all day. Then tonight I updated the spotify app on my iPad mini and now it crashes shortly after opening, every time. Anyone else having this problem?,

I'm not sure if I misunderstand this forum, but the thread you link to is closed as resolved. This is not resolved for me: the current release of Spotify keeps crashing in the startup screen (using iPad Mini).
