I am experiencing the same issue! What the heck!
Same here, and confirmed with several others as well. Song was fine until Saturday afternoon ….
The song in question is "Oh No!" by the Decemberists. I'd had the song downloaded for about a day, with the complete arrangement including vocals. Yesterday, trying to play it, the vocal track is missing. The lyrics feature still works and "syncs" with the missing lyrics, so I can tell where they're supposed to start and do not. I do not have this issue with any other song, including songs on the same album. I've tried removing and re-adding the song, and I'm quite sure I didn't accidentally get an instrumental version. My version of the spotify app is current.

My Question or Issue
Has anyone else had this happen and resolved it? Anything other than deleting and redownloading the app would be nice as then I'd have to redownload my whole library.
This just happened to me. It played through once without the vocals while listening to the album on my partner’s account. I immediately tried playing it on my account and it was normal. We’ve tried it on my partner’s account about three more times and it’s playing normally again.
Same thing happened to me with this track starting yesterday after a week or so of vocals. Logging out and back in hasn't fixed it. Very strange.

Keep in mind that if you're able to constantly reproduce this on different devices, there's a chance that the metadata of the song was changed and that's up to the artist.
