Wanting TO DISABLE auto-resume after call

i would like to know how to disable the auto-resuming of music after having taken a phone call. I’m extremely tired of forgetting music was playing before I took a long call and having it turn back on and blare in my ear as soon as I end the call. Is there an option?

Thanks for the post.

Currently there is no way to disable this from within the Spotify app. The best thing to do is to pause the app manually before accepting a call.

This is kind of insane. Even when paused, Spotify will auto-resume after for example a Teams call.

Scenario (that I lived through)

1. Listen to some crazy heavy metal in my headphones at the office.
2. Pause the music, turn off my headphones.
3. Later I join a teams-meeting, put on my headphones and finish the meeting.
4. Turn off my headphones.
5. PC starts blasting out heavy metal in the office.
