Although the update of iOS Spotify around August 20 removed the problem from new playlists, some playlists created will need to be replaced. The problem is that when viewing a playlist you can save (+) or remove (-) a song but the change is not real and will not be seen on other devices. My playlists were created on an ipad3, but the problem effected both the iPad3 and an ipod5.
