While running, Spotify switches tracks

Hello fellow community,

the problem I am experiencing is that when using Spotify whilst running, tracks are switched automatically. This means when I listen to one specific song, it will change to another song in that playlist when i am running. This is really annoying since I always have to put out my phone again to change it back manually again. May this be caused by the running movements and shakings? Is there a way to solve this problem?

Make sure that "shuffle when shooken" is off. That is an IOS option. That could be causing the issue.

I cannot find the option "shuffle when shooken". Ive searched the whole iOS Spotify Menu. Im using the most recent version and most recent iOS software version. Maybe you could lead me there 🙂
