To start investigating this behavior, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app as it may be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. If you haven't tried yet, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article. 

If the issue persists, would you mind confirming if the line you mentioned appears in portrait and full-screen mode or just full screen?

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
